I will sometimes “paste” supporting information or even a URL into the notes field.

  • Notes – Need to add more detail or important info to a todo? You can add a note to any todo.
  • Of course, all these lists are tied together by the “Starred Priority.” However, I can quickly create a list if I have need to capture something. I tend to minimize the number of lists of I have. For those that like to sub-sort tasks into many different buckets, you can do this.
  • Multiple Lists – Wunderlist allows you to have as many lists are you would like.

I use this “hit list” prioritization to make my Today List of my highest priority tasks that must be done today. When you “star” an item, it shows up in your Starred list (as well as its original list). You won’t find A, B, C’s or 1, 2, 3’s, but rather a simple Star system.

  • Priorities – Wunderlist has a simple priority system.
  • More apps are finally getting sync, but Wunderlist has had this right from the start. There is no effort required to keep your lists in sync across all your platforms and devices.
  • Sync – Wunderlist syncs magically via the cloud.
  • You can also share lists via email or via the CloudApp. You can share via email and let a family member or friend edit the list too.
  • Share – Want to share a list with someone else? Wunderlist can do that in one click.
  • I prefer the push notifications because they appear in my iPhone’s notification center. They can be either email notifications or push notifications.
  • Push Reminders – On my iPhone, I can set reminders for tasks that I want to recall at specific times.
  • (BTW, do you really need to set the “context” for each todo and the “color” of each task?) Most of the options stay out-of-the-way until you need them. Yet, behind that simple appearance is quite a bit of power.
  • Simple – Ever use a todo app that looks like the control panel to the Space Shuttle? So many options, buttons, and fields that it is a burden to use? Wunderlist presents a simple interface.

I can access it on the Web, on Mac OS X, on all my mobile devices (see below), on Linux, and even Windows.

No matter where I turn, my Wunderlist is there. Everywhere – If your todo list is not accessible you won’t use it.Here are the 10 top reasons that I use Wunderlist as my todo app: I always advise, “ Choose Tools You’ll Use.”ĭo you use your todo app everyday? 10 Reason Why I Use Wunderlist Other people dislike their apps so much that they give them the cold shoulder and stop using them after a short time. Ones that add complexity and extra work to their life. Isn’t that a little ironic of a todo app? It amazes me when people use todo apps that frustrate them. Here’s why… Productivity That Gets Work Done My todo list app of choice is Wunderlist. Many of them are too complex. In fact, some make life more complicated. In fact, there are too many to name here. If nothing works, I have to go to todoist or some other service with working wunderlist import. There are many options out there for todo lists. Nothing changed.Īny idea? At the moment I am forced to change but have no working way. I already deleted all things in MS Todo (the zombiegroups of course come back all the time), cleaned up my wunderlist (only lists, no groups. The tasks are the basic information, I want to keep. some only in the app.ģrd MS To Do did not import any tasks. I tried to delete them, but is a pain! And of course some of them only appear in the web version. If I have a list "list" in wunderlist, now I have "list (1)", "list (2)". But if I deleted them after this procedure, they are resurrecting, too.Ģnd MS To Do imported many duplicates.

Only if I put a list into them, they are appearing in Windows oder MacOS up. And they only show up in the web version. No, they CAN be deleted, but they are coming back after a second or a day. But the import ist still not working, but now there are more problems.ġst I have many folders (all empty), that cannot be deleted. So i decided to keep wunderlist and deleted all things from MS To Do.īut now MS kills wunderlist. I had a completely messed up MS To Do with some lists and tasks, but many were missing. I tried an import from my wunderlist a year ago.
